Hikko — help, questions, and account issues

Getting started

Hikko is a place to post ideas and vote on other people's. Create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with GitHub or Apple. Once signed in you can post an idea, add up to three tags, comment, and vote.

Account help

• Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login screen to get a reset link by email.
• Reset link didn't arrive? Check your spam folder, then email us and we will reset it manually.
• Can't sign in with Apple or GitHub? Make sure you use the same provider you originally signed up with — signing in with a different provider creates a separate account.
• Want your account deleted? Email us from the address on the account and we will delete it, along with your posts, within 7 days.

Posting and limits

• Free accounts are rate-limited to prevent spam. If you hit the limit, wait a minute and try again.
• Hikko Pro is a one-time $1 purchase that removes the posting limit and gives new posts 24 hours of pinned visibility.
• Posts are limited to 500 characters and up to 3 tags.

Billing

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel. If a payment failed or you were charged twice, email us and we will refund it.

Reporting content

To report a post that is spam, harassment, or otherwise breaks our Terms of Service, email us with a link to the post. We review reports within 2 business days and remove content that violates the rules.

Privacy

We store your email address, your posts, votes, and comments. We do not sell your data. To request a copy of your data or have it deleted, email us.
